just joined. been playing upright for 12 or 13 years, and electric for 4 or 5 or somthing like that.
grew up in jazz combos, am now in a funk/rock/hippitty hoppitty/blues whatever band. think somewhat less angry Rage, with bluesier backing. somthing like that.
currently have
my upright (some chinese made thing of pretty good quality, I love it)
a peavey millenium bxp 4 string, just aquired it and cant say enough about it. wow! awesome! it may just be a case of the best you have played is the best you know...but I m in love with it.
and a battle scared washburn fretless 4 string.....that is now the donor bass for my new project...check the luthier section for a thread that Im about to go write lol....its gonna be pretty cool.
