New guy

started playing the bass in our church band about 2 years ago. One of the best things I’ve ever done.
Found this forum while reading reviews on a fender bass.
Looks like a great place to spend some time and learn a few things.

Welcome! Yes, it's a great site with a HUGE combined wealth of knowledge and experience, mixed in with a touch or 2 of BS....LOL. Hope you enjoy! Welcome from another Praise player. I think what I liked the best about playing Praise at our church was there were 6 new songs each week. Sure some we had played before, but, it was months ago. Like most bands we all were friends as well as fellow musicians.

Hello Malcolm and thanks. There are so many elements of playing in the praise band that I enjoy it’s hard to pick my favorite, but I quess the best part is leading the congregation to the throne room. It’s actually very humbling. Playing for our Lord is the ultimate!
