New head and cab today

I got an old 1x15 Avatar cab that my buddy had. It's one of the early little "cube" cabs that has the port in the back. This thing has sounded good with every head he ran through it.

So I bopped into the local Guitar Center today. They have the Acoustic B200H heads on sale for $149 for their Presidents Day sale. Couldn't pass that up!

This head sounds great through this little cab. It won't be filling up concert halls, but it'll handle the small clubs I'm playin.

That's cool, I wish Avatar still made 15's. Lately I've been thinking of building a rig with 2 1x15's. But as it is I was thinking about 2 Acoustic 1x15's and maybe the exact same head for that good of a price. But right now my gas for a P-Bass is still king.

My buddy just bought one today as well to use in the band I just left...along with the matching 4x10''cab 8ohm@400w ...sounds good and something at a good price for once to come out of GC, amazing!

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand why they aren't making any 15's. I wish I could find another one of these small 15 cabs for cheap. A 2x 1-15 rig like this would sound awesome!
