New here

Hi there....

I'm new here. I just picked up this bass and I've done some looking online and can't seem to figure out a model number on this...don't know exactly what I've got and thought I'd ask guys in the know.....appreciate any help. As you can see inside the body there is a place for a serial number but none listed there or anywhere. I was told it was used in a movie in 1968...one of the staff took it home and it's been sitting ever since. It looks brand new! Strange, on the headstock it says "Diamonds" but inside it says "Diamond".

Thanks in advance!

I'm not expert, but I think that's one of the earliest Aria basses, which were released under various names (including Aria Diamond) and built in Japan from around 1966.

Provided it's all for real, I'd say you have a nice little collector's item there!
