New here

I played guitar a long time ago. I am just getting back into it after running into an old friend and jam buddy! Now, however I want to learn bass guitar. I am picking up a new Austin P Bass Wednesday and will be looking for an amp. Practice, jamming and maybe small gigs so thinking….Rumble! 40, 60, 75 or 100 watt for now. Anyway, I am glad to have found this forum!

Thanks for the advice! Learning some songs by tab but need to take some lessons. When I first started learning guitar 47 years ago, I picked up a bass but was told I should learn guitar. I always loved the sound of the bass and I am excited to finally have a chance to play this instrument! Tim

Hey Hey! Congrats on joining and getting back into guitar. I've been keeping up with TalkBas forums for years and am making the jump from upright to electric.. so I thought I 'd join the TB family. Thinking of starting a forum about e-basses that are best to transition to coming from upright. Hope to see you around the TB community

Best!!
