Most people hate the pointy Jackson headstock.

I say, it's one of the features that made Jackson unique. No longer is that the case, though. Few years ago it was bad with them, it's worse now. 90s etc Jackson was the peak, now it's just a corpse being dangled around like a puppet for money.

Not like it matters per say since its just some brand nonsense, but if you're into gear for gears sake, that kinda sucks.

The Jackenbacker is an abomination imho. Even if it sounds and feels etc. okay.

Some things just shouldn't be done and this is one of those things. Unholy duality of bass. Never post an image of this monstrosity again. I beg thee.

Totally agree. Abomination was my first thought. Yuck.

I love the "jackson" pointy headstocks (which they borrowed from an earlier somewhat obscure Japanese maker). I never liked them back in the day, but over the last couple years they suddenly began to "look right". WhoDaThunkIt?
This amalgamation of obvious Rickenbacker "Trade Dress" is pretty hard on the eyes, though! (And I'm surprised they haven't been sued...)

I like the look of pointy Jackson basses, but I dislike this very much. "Let's build a pointy-headstock bass with a Rick-like body and Precision pickups. Let's pick one aspect from each bass and put it all together.":vomit:

I has bass strings, and pickups on it. So I'm guessing it's only 90 percent that you really don't like.
If you really need to play such silly semantic games, I don't like 4s and PJ PU arrangements, so, no, there is nothing about this bass that would convince me to open my wallet and buy and use it.
