He is now the “old grey”.Wow! I was not expecting to be greeted by "Whispering" Bob Harris .
I certainly respect Lee’s accomplishments and career longevity, however…I had absolutely no use for that entire musical milieu that they’re discussing as it was going on when I was a young teen, still don’t. “Soft Rock”? A contradiction in terms. As JT sang in his cover of Jimmy Jones’ ‘Handy Man’, “…coma coma coma come come”. I considered it anti-rock; I’m a younger boomer, and that crowd had a few years on me, but they were like old hippies trying too hard to mellow out when I wanted to kick out the jams, so it was almost like a mini-generation gap. They might have been experiencing their post-Woodstock hangover, but I hadn’t had my party yet. OK, rant over.Old Grey Whistle Teeth.
