happy to be pointed in the direction of a specialised U bass thread - tried to search to no avail.
I have just got a new Mahalo solid body ukulele bass, it's so damn fat sounding, amazing!
Only downside, the A string has a fret buzz at all positions. Doesn't matter where I play, there is buzz. It can be heard in the amp too, thanks to the sensitive piezo.
The E and D strings have no buzz, so I don't think it's high frets. I've tried adjusting the truss, raising the bridge, still buzzes. Shimmed the nut slot with paper, still buzzes.
WHAT COULD IT BE? Help would be appreciated,
