Hello. I'm Nick Dahl and I live in Ithaca, NY. Although it's hard to admit, I've been playing guitar/bass for 26 years now. Most of my 20's were spent playing bass in rock bands around Oregon. Once the kids came, I settled down, got my Ph.D., and now teach at Cornell University. My hope is to play out again once the kids leave home.
Meanwhile, I keep playing in my "smoke-free home studio" (someone in the forum gets a kick out of that description), and recording stuff for fun.
I just bought a Suhr bass and Aguliar amp/cabinet, so I plan on playing more bass this summer.
