Hello. New member here. I've been playing bass for 10 years now. Been in a few bands over the years and about last year I jumped to the doublebass. A couple years ago I started jazz school in my hometown so it made sense to switch intrument last year. For now and for what I could afford I started with the cheapest ones on Thomman (500-600€ price range). Currently browsing for new bows.
I still play electric with this new group we're starting but my main practice has been the doublebass.
As for gear I have a few effects pedals, a couple of cheap combo amps and one 4x10 speaker from Markbass. My amplifier is the Orange Terror Bass 1000W (too much power for my Markbass speaker).
I've been lurking the forums for a while now and finnaly decided to join. Anyways thanks for having me and talk to you later!
