They did a nice job on the mid 60's burst, most miss the mark.

Beautiful bass. Such a classic look.

If I may ask, how did you get the bass strings to line up so perfectly with the pick-up magnets?
Thanks, I didnt really do it purposefully. I replaced the nut on that neck recently ,so its cut more carefully than one an an assembly line, with MJT bodies you usually need to sand the sides of the neck pocket to get a neck to fit , which is a terrible choice on their part im sure we've all blown out enough mjt neck pockets in our days and the finish is very brittle , so I guess I got lucky there with the amount I removed from each side and I guess I got lucky with the bridge mounting holes being drilled out properly , I hadnt even noticed how they lined up ive managed to cut nuts horribly and have to redo them so I guess Id say 99% dumb luck

well its down to 8lbs 1oz after resolites/bridge change, didnt change the bushings not sure if that would save the 30 grams or so needed to get under 8 ,was fun to try by far my lightest jazz , sounds incredible, balances great , feels great
