NEW MODERN PLAYER JAZZ SATIN???

Wondering if anyone has tried the new modern player jazz satin Fender has recently released? I would like to hear your overall feelings about this new model, particularly the 5 string model. Been wanting the MIM active jazz model, but this new model has got me interested....for now.

I just got one last week from GC. The black one with the maple board. Love it! The bridge looks similar to a Baddass. I have yet to detect a dead spot on the fingerboard. Its passive..... the first knob is a rotary pickup selector, Vol/Vol/Tone.

I use my Aguilar Tone Hammer preamp pedal with it. WOW!

How do the pickups sound?
The single coil sound like a normal jazz pickup, and the Humbucker close to a mm Humbucker tone?
Would it have room for an Aguilar obp-2 and 9volt battery?

I absolutely adore this bass, I have the same black version, my girlfriend treated me to one for my 21st and I'm having a lot of fun with it, the pickups are so versatile and aggressive when they need to be, its easy to dial in the classic jazz sound too, I run mine into my mxr m80 and the tone is perfect, couldn't be happier with it!
