New Moog Minifoogers!

It does and I've thought of that... and will probably check it out in the store to see how it functions as a LPF. But, I really don't need any more drive pedals as I already use a Barbershop>VMTD>Civil War>Woodchipper as my dirt section.

Anyone tried the minifooger chorus?

JimmyM is all set for a chorus pedal, I know. However, I felt I should follow up. Spoiled for chorus pedals after playing my friend's vintage MXR one recently, I set about listening online for an alternative. What contemporary chorus pedal could come close to the old MXR? Which one had the bite, swirl, snarl AND warm depth... with bass guitar?

It was a high bar, and online demos can mislead. I took my best guess, choosing the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] to try. Today I can report that the MF Chorus is excellent with guitar and a gem with bass guitar. Its range is so wide that it spans flanging and chorusing. And its voice is both deep and (can be, per settings) biting.

Less noisy and more polite than the vintage MXR Stereo Chorus, nonetheless for my target voice and range of sounds, the Moog MF Chorus is the one for bass guitar. I can't imagine anything being better. As good to taste, maybe; but not better. They should have called it the MF Bass Chorus Flanger and been done.

P.S. - In my opinion, even the MSRP street price for this pedal new is a bargain. I found a used one in mint condition for 32% below new.

I always thought the 102 ring mod was. But then again I never personally liked the filter all that much
