Did anyone else grab one of these when they released them?

I got mine and I have to say it is the best filter pedal I've ever used - absolutely exceptional!

.....and as luck would have it, I ended up with SN 001!

I had one of the newer mutron filters a few years ago. The sensitivity was always too high and I could never play it - even with relatively low output basses.

Any issue with that here?
I used to use a vintage one. Possibly the only piece of vintage gear that 100% lives up to the hype.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows how this compares to my Micro Tron 4, which I adore. I looked on their site to figure out but there aren't a lot of clues.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows how this compares to my Micro Tron 4, which I adore. I looked on their site to figure out but there aren't a lot of clues.

The Drive switch is a toggle switch on the Mu-Tron III instead of a footswitch like on the Micro-Tron 4; other than that (and the name, of course), there seem to be no other changes. Well, the Micro-Tron 4 does have some CV capabilities.

I wonder if the basic sound is any different between the two. If anyone is able to do a first-hand comparison, please report back!
