New (old) Amp Day - Ampeg B15N

I play mostly blues and rock, and for me, the perfect set-up has always been a solid P bass, a Ric, and a Gibson Les Paul - all sporting flats and all running through an Ampeg B-15. Over the last couple years, I was fortunate enough to find three basses that I absolutely love. The amp, however, alluded meuntil this past weekend, when I picked up a 1969 Ampeg B15N from a fellow TB member. It is clean, in fantastic shape, and sounds exactly like I was hoping it would. I guess my GAS is over!

Congrats! I have been through all the usual suspects, most recently the small micro-amps like Genz -Benz etc, until I picked up a '63 B15N last week. I was amazed how good it sounded. The others just sound lacking now.

Congrats! I think my B15N is my favorite bass amp I've ever played. Coming from me that's saying quite a bit. I go through gear like a food cart at a medical marijuana convention.
