All of the stuff I got for free wore out!
Here's something that I did to refresh a bass that I've owned for over 20 years. This bass started out as a Memphis, but I fell to the temptation of putting on a phony Fender decal. This left the bass with an identity problem. I set forth to solve that, hopefully with a bit of humor.

The neck plate is a great touch! Have to remember that - did you have it done, or did you do that yourself?
I got the neck plate from a vendor on Ebay. I think it's one of the tongue in cheek custom touches.
Awesome! With a name like Blender Indecision, I expected to see a P/J when I scrolled down. Looks good though. Did you refinish the body, and if so what did you use?
I lucked out there. The body is in great factory condition with only a few dings. I'm not gonna open that can o worms.:) The headstock was refinished with many, many layers of acrylic water borne clear to sink the decal.
