New Old Bass Day

Picked up a Gretsch Broadkaster bass. Made in Japan, 2005 model. Not really digging the short scale too much (30.3"), but it sure is a lot of fun. Slapped on a Beatles CD and had to smile a bit at that hollow-body tone. Walnut Stain.

Thanks guys. Peter Tork! That made me laugh. But thinking back to the old "Monkees" show, I can see how you'd think that! It's a pretty cool bass, and I think it looks real good in person.
