I’ve been playing a Zon 5 string for almost a year now. That being my only bass. I love that bass. But... I’ve been missing my old fender precision. Not wanting to spend a ton of money, I searched Facebook Marketplace for the last month or so, looking for a deal. I ran across an old Electra 4 string pbass with what I was told, is the original case. Picked it up for $150. Got it home and it played great and had decent tone. Pots were sketchy along with the output jack. It had a decent low freq him to it. Went ahead and order a pet of Dimarzio Model P pickups plus a wiring kit. Should have it back from the shop this week. He also installing strings and doing a setup / cleanup on it. This Electra was made in Japan. This is the Electra that was bought out by Phoenix, or something like that. Not the Westone Electra. I saw some good reviews on the Model P pickups and found these for $60 on eBay new. I’ll have maybe $275 in it when all is said and done.

Any of you guys play Electra basses? I can’t find much info on them.
