new pedal purchase, in order of necessity

So, I've got a little money to spend on myself in the coming weeks.
THinking about adding to my pedal board.

Current board:
Dunlop 105Q
POG
Qtron+
BlueTube
Electric Mistress
Boss OC3 octave pedal

Things I'm interested in:
A new wah--not a big fan of the 105Q, sweeps are too abrupt, doesn't produce the tones I really want these days. Don't know what other wahs are available these days (been years since I've looked).

A distortoin pedal--the Blue Tube gives a nice warm fuzz, but I want something NASTY sounding. Something harsh, brutal, bone crushing. Fulltone Bassdriver came to mind. Someone mentioned the Jekyll&Hyde (for bass?). Other options?

A delay pedal--would open up some more options for playing, looping, etc. Could be used as a surrogate reverb to fatten up the atmospherics when soloing.

So...got suggestions for any of the above? I'm not a big fan of standard pedals unless they really do the magic. I like the harder to find stuff...something about the uniqueness of it.

What would you suggest as order of importance of the above 3?

Get either a EBS WahOne or wait for the EBS Stanley Clarke Signature Stanwah.

I'd get a delay pedal since don't already have one. Then consider trading up or selling the pedals you aren't satisfied with.

You need some grunt on your board. I'd get a more extreme fuzz, maybe a Big Bass Muff, a Supercollider or a 3xfx Fatman.

If you don't have a bass driver, check out the Behringer BDI-21. Lot's of chatter here about it. I'm a fan, but get more opinions.

Yeah I actually recorded that as a joke... yeah. Here's the Fulltone Bass-Drive, I don't think it's what you're looking for:

and here's the Jekyll and Hyde (Hyde channel), but I wouldn't really recommend it unless you want a real grainy distortion that sounds akin to a guitar:

For something more appropriate for your typical bass player that still wants a brutal sound, I like the HBE Ultimate Fuzz Octave or Prescription Electronics Experience. Here's the former:

and with the octave engaged which is just sick (if guitarlike):

and here's the Prescription Electronics Experience pedal with a Boss OC-2 run into it for grins:

Wah - +1 for the Wilson Effects 12-Position Q-Wah.

Fuzz - Malekko Heavy Industry B:Assmaster, Big Muff (Maybe a Fuzzrocious?), Brown Dog, MXR Blowtorch. All uniquely grindy in their own way.

Delay - +1 on the MXR Carbon Copy, it's super cheap, can get reverb-ish tones, and can self-oscillate. Other choices I was looking at before and after getting a Carbon Copy were the Subdecay Echobox, EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Memory Man Deluxe, and the Hardwire DL-8.

I'd agree that you should get a delay first and then sell off or trade pedals to get what you want.

i have a jekyll and hyde. the "hyde" channel is great with bass.. ill record clips if you want to hear it.
