New pedal, question...

little help, please...

Just received my new Hartke Attack pedal (came with my new LH500 head). This pedal can be used as a DI as well. My assumption would have been that:

Bass goes into the pedals "input", and the pedal's "line out" goes to the Amp. But looking at the diagrams in the manual, says "parallel Output" goes to amp, and "line out" goes to the board. Now, I am not using this as a DI... no board. So if It is just bass, pedal, amp, do I go from pedal to amp using "line out" or "parallel output"?

Gracias in advance...

Thanks Newbold...
I love this new LH500 head (I am running it into a Goliath III 4x10, which I also love, I got it used last week). I would hate to do sumpin' dumb and blow it up... lol. Got first gigs with the new head and cab Thurs & Fri this week...

i've tried the parallel output before, and my experience is that the unaffected signal comes out from the parallel output.

try it and see.... connect the parallel output to the amp, and then turn the pedal on, and then turn the knobs - no change in the sound.

however, if you connect the line out to the amp, now you get the effected output.

this was my experience years ago, i'm not sure if the new bass attack pedals work differently now.
