I’ve been digging the stock SPB-3s in my Nate Mendel & the J version’s been on my radar for a long while now- wired em in this afternoon & am pleased with how assertive they are!
Still need to fine tune the pickup heights but they’re in the ballpark. The extra strength of the J pickup pairs well in the Classic Vibe’s 70s spacing IMO!
