i have an ibanez srx 390, and am possibly looking at switching out the pre amp or just trading it in for a new bass in general....i don't have that much money to buy anything too flashy....but ive talked to some TBers and they all seem that changing the pre amp is a great option I have....im new to switching anything out as far as the electronics are concerned, but I am pretty handy with a soldering iron...i don't even know where to begin to look...all i know is i want a versatile, controllable tone....
the bass has 4 knobs total on it....heres what musicians friend had them at..and i went ahead and included the bridge on the list in case that may be something worth replacing as well....
