new preamp for marcus miller jazz

hey hey hey kids the j-retro preamp is designed for standard fender setups, regular pickguard and chrome control plate, the miller bass has the funky big pickguard which a j-retro would NOT drop into as its designed to do. Get an aquilar obp-3 my friend.

i looked there and it says that they're out of order so can i still order one and they'll just send it when they get more in or am i S.O.L?

I apologise for this, as they are in stock, and have been for the last 6 months.

If I look at my site, they show as in stock. But I'm getting reports that the previous page, and not the updated page is still displayed for some.

I'm not familiar with the insides of websites but having it looked at right now.

Will let you know when it's fixed.

Yes that's correct about the J-Retro but there is a drop-in Marcus Retro, which has the correct pickguard, and the frequencies of the bass and treble are different from the J-Retro too. They are changed to be similar to the Bart TCT that Marcus actually uses in his 78 Fender.

wow you post on here....hm...well might i say that your preamps look amazing, would you recommend a pair of jazz pickups that would bring the most out of the preamp or will the stock amps be fine enough in your opinion?

Certainly made a number of post over the last few years.

As far as pickups, I would recommend, which ever preamp you decided to use, you keep the stock units for now, and just change one item at a time, then you really know what difference that change made.

Otherwise, if you changed two items, and there was something you weren't happy with, it would be much harder to pin-point.

More on the stock pickups, I believe Marcus still uses his original stock units, say no more!
