New Prince Song - Moonbeam Levels

I thought I read somewhere that he has a vault full of unreleased recordings, most recorded complete to a high standard with full instrumentation and vocals, suitable for release. He was prolific and worked fast. We could have "new" Prince songs trickling out way into the future. That's one way to ensure immortality.
listen to the vocal, it's not him. could be a protégé as the instrumentation is certainly prince-ish, but that sure as hell ain't him singing. I have a ton of his records and have seen him live, he doesn't sound like that.

The song sounds like poop, but it could be Prince singing. I just know that Prince had to have better songs than "Moonbeam Levels" in the vault.
I, totally, agree. It sounds like somebody picked the first tune in the pile and put it out there. It is not good and very weak by Prince standards. It is no wonder that Prince did not release it himself.
I hear a bit of a British accent with whoever is doing the singing. Definitely not Prince singing. Using this song as a selling point to yet another Prince compilation is a chump move in my opinion. The man is an icon but there is no need to pimp his music out.
