You could get very durable grill cloth (actually vinyl pet screen material) here...(comes in a variety of colors)

I did up a fEARful 15/6 with the black. It's dark but you can still see the speakers through it...

I too think that much awesome needs a metal grill. See if there is machine shop that can do a billet aluminum grill on that. Make it look like an F350.

This... there is something about the symmetry of this rig that just kills.

When I first saw the pictures, I thought: "oh someone took a pic of their home stereo."

Then I realized exactly what it was.

Metal would be awesome but the guys that build these actually use the metal Hexagon design for their grills and its a massive and expensive pain to get them on there and not have them rattle like mad!

Rad! Thanks for the feedback, In person they actually look pretty gorgeous not home stereo-esque at all! They are bigger than the Ampeg 810 dimension-wise and sound a helluva lot better

Yea... I should have added that I love 15s more than 10s.

This is a very practical rig as it can be used to augment the usual gig income. Nighttime is for gigging with awesome tube tone, and daytime is for contracts involving demolition of buildings. Nice dual purpose rig!

Also, about the grills, I think they look cool as is, but you could also do individual metal speaker grills, which look cool.

I'm digging the black too. They look awsome as is. But if you want suggestions I would consider Green Shimon or maybe Loydloom. Salt n' pepper will look nice too I think.

if I'm not mistaken, the thickness and density of the weave will effect the sound.
