My new fretless I threw together in a few days. Alder body, Maple neck, Rosewood board with Walnut putty (classy ). American Fender pickups, passive electronics, all Schaller hardware, GHS strings. Sounds great. Cost me all of about 500 Australian dollars (about $350 American).

Schallers,EMG and a BadAssII bridge.
It's pretty beat up but it's like a old pair of bluejeans , just real comfortable.

Here's my Valenti J5. It's a jazz bass with EMG 40J's and an Aguilar 18v OBP3. I must say that Nino did a great job on this one.
