Wow! Excellent playing. I got bored with Pass The Brack due to lack of melody or a lead line. You guys were just jamming on that one. Paid My Dues was way better! More of that please! Bass playing was excellent on both but I enjoyed the playing on Paid My Dues better. Just enough notes without overplaying. Worked great for the song.

It's even better that we both play Joe Osbornes, so I know you're a man of good taste!
As for Pass The Brack, I think Im in agreement with you, it doesn't come across as well on record as the other tune which is a bit more structured.

Funky stuff! It's great to hear people doing the funk right. People always under emphasize the importance of congas and the group singing thing in funky music. Keep up the good work!

Definitely has a warmth and energy to it. Feels authentic and vintage. Great tone.

I agree with group chants making for a quality addition to any funk track.
