I WAS NOT in the market for a new bass. I'm completely happy with the ones that I have. My local used store sent out a "pre-Memorial Day sale" and I couldn't resist the offer.

For starters, these sell for $500 new. They were asking $110. I had to do it!

I plugged it in... it definitely has a heavy rock sound and it's remarkably light for the size. It's a nice neck through construction and distinctive soud.

I put a set of LaBella Stainless Steel strings... this thing SINGS!

$110!?!?! Wowza! Great score!! Congrats!!

People often wonder how I get deals at these crazy prices. The original is $499 new. This is in mint condition. The difference between this and the one that's $299 is that the other is bolt on. To find this for $140 was crazy. A small trade in of some unused gear and the price came down to $110!
