Double Bass New to Bluegrass

I'm new to bluegrass but absolutely love it. I've recently got a mandolin and looking to learn. Any bands, groups, artists, sites, etc that you all would recommend?

Listen to Bill Monroe's stuff--especially from the 40s and 50s. Also, Flatt and Scruggs is a good place to start. There are many more contemporary groups but I'd recommend starting with the foundation laid by these guys.

I would recommend listening to Cousin Jake on the Flatt and Scruggs stuff. if you are new to bluegrass he is someone to pay attention to. His style is usually simple enough someone new can play it.
