Early 2022 I bought my Genzler Magellan 800 and NuClassic 212 rig because I was in a band. I’ve since left the band to focus on school, but still play at church. We have an old ampeg 210 combo at church that more or less gets the job done for monitoring purposes as I also go into the house but is kinda damaged and doesn’t take much for it to “fart out”.

The Genzler rig is way overkill for an at home set up, I mean the only reason I got it was for the band. So I’ve decided that I’ll be taking my Genzler rig to church and leaving it there for the foreseeable future. But I didn’t want to stay ampless at home so I’ve been holding off on it till now. My Local shop had a Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.0 come in and I knew they’d give me a deal on it. So I went over to try it out and see if they had any nice cabs as well and they had a nice little Bugera
2x10. It’s pretty heavy for it’s size and kinda noisy but it gets the job done and sounds pretty darn Good.

I was A/Bing the two heads this morning connecting both to both cabs and man, Jeff Genzler is a beast. I love these two heads, I loved my old Shuttle 6.2 combo and this 9.0 instantly clicked as a familiar sound I enjoy. they both have their own voice. I’d say the Genzler while still amazingly hi-fi is easier to dial in a warm tone, and the GB has a much clearer crisp sound I didn’t realize I actually missed haha. Anyway glad I found a nice rig to keep at home while the Genzler gets to shine at church.

One thing I noticed on the Shuttle last night was that it seemed to do this thing every now and then where it has a hiss that would get louder and then do a “Fmph” and then be quiet again, anyone know what that could be?

Not sure but Mr. @agedhorse will be around soon as he created the Shuttle and may know.
If service is needed he also does a great factory service to them at a fantastic price.
Unless someone has been in it before hand messing things up. :(
