Ok, this HPF vs LPF thing is new to me. Been reading g up on it.
Do these settings look close to where I should start playing loud, yet keeping everything alive?

Found a pair of us made 15s on reverb

"PMR #35PAP-SC-4. FOUR OHM/ 4 OHM wide range bass speakers/ drivers"
"400RMS/500 Peak/600"
If I wire them in series, would I then be underdriving them?

Seller is offering 15 day no questions return, I might just try 'em

From what I understand from the user manual, the crossover is just outputs to connect other amps/cabs, it has nothing to do with the internal amp itself.

Playing loud and keeping everything alive is more on you understanding and realizing the limitations of this amp/cab. The cab being 200W @ 8 ohms is a good start as the amp will probably be around that power level if it's truly 400 watts @ 4 ohm.

I don't think the drivers you've cited represent any sort of improvement over the stock drivers -- in fact, they're probably inferior to them. Add to that the fact you don't have the T/S parameters for these new drivers so you can't determine if they're a good 'fit' for the enclosure, and I'd say you'd be better off just leaving the cab as it is.

In case you're new to this, there's a great deal more to determining good replacement drivers for bass cabs than just matching impedance and power handling specs.
