New (to me) TF550A with switch rig.

I can't wait to get it out on a gig, couple of weeks now. At least I'll get to practice with it a couple of times before then.

TFB550a (w/the switch)
2- Eastern Acoustic 1x15 cabs with EV15B drivers
Fbass BN5

Old school sound? I think maybe! :)

Here with one of the cabs:

That rig would sound so much better with a Sadowsky. Or, if it were a Markbass. I can't believe you'd post a picture of your rig and bass without it being a Markbass and Sadowsky. You should try a Markbass and Sadowsky. I mean, your stuff is pretty nice, but it is not a Sadowsky, and it is not a Markbass.

Hack.

That Eastern Acoustcs cabinet is wonderful. I played a gig with one a few years ago being driven by only an Ampeg V4B. Surprising amount of volume with a 100 watt head, so it's pretty efficient where it counts.

Nice rig. I can see where that would be somewhat old school, but loud and punchy also. That's a beautiful F Bass.. that's my all time favorite FBass finish. Beautiful!!!! I believe you will be more and more impressed by the TF as you get it on a bunch of gigs!

 I guess this is an inside joke...

Now THAT is funny! :D

LOL

It is indeed an inside joke. Not a slam against the products mentioned. We're family..., distant family! ;)

Tonight is my first practice with the TF. 1 cab with drums, keys, acoustic g**tar and electric g**tar. Should be fun to check it out.

The old cabs do have quite a punch to them. Both of them with 500Watts should kill!

Thanks, as it turns out, it's my favorite too! :smug:

Well, I used it at practice last night. First time with the band.

I thought it worked great. Easy to dial in pretty much whatever sound I wanted (considering I was only using 1-1x15 cab). Between the TFB550 and the Fbass the attack was more articulated than I have ever experienced before. More mids than I am used to using but I liked it. The mids weren't irritating to me like they usually seemed to be before the TFB550.

All the other band mates were pleased with it's sound too. I can't wait to gig it with both cabs at a higher volume!
