Hey guys. I've just found out about Talk Bass, and decided to join the forum. I'm pretty bad at introducing myself, so I'll just give it a shot. My name's Conner Fleming, and I'm from Scotland, in the UK. I'm currently playing bass in an indie band called Meet Me In The Sky, and as a side project, playing bass and vocals in a metal band (still to decide on a name - it's just for a bit of fun). I've been playing bass for about 3 months now, but I'd like to think I'm pretty good for the amount of time I've been playing - I pick up things quickly. My main influences in bass are Metallica, Rise Against, and The Strokes. I also play keyboard for fun, and I've been playing for about a year (I love to play power metal keyobard solo's). In Meet Me In The Sky, we've written about 10 songs, and we're about to start recording, and have on album out and ready for download sometime soon. Lastly, my music taste. I really do like everything: However, right now, I'm mostly into metal, and indie - yeh, a weird combination. Well, that's basically all I can think of about myself musically, right now. Told you I was bad at this. Thanks for reading, guys, and it's nice to be here.
