Very nice bass. I have to say Schecter makes some great stuff for an even better price. Great bang for your buck.

I'm considering doing a new Pre/Pup config though. The bass is a little on the mellow side as is, and I think I want more bite from it. With all the maple on this it should be brighter I would've thought.

It seemed most of the Diamond Series came with EMG-Hz pickups, but these just have Schector on the pickups. I don't see any name on the preamp. Anybody know what brand the pre and pups are in the new series of Schecters?

I was thinking of getting the EMG-35P4 for the neck pickup and the EMG-35DC for the Bridge. I would imagine I need to get an EMG preamp as well for such a config? Anyway, thoughts on that idea?
(I realize the questions are better suited for the Electronics forum, but I thought I'd throw the question up with the new pics of the bass :p)

Where the hell did you get that! Thats a sharp looking bass and it don't have that stupid S-Tek bridge on it.

Someone posted a picture of that style here on TB, so I ran a search on the 'Bay and surprisingly found one.

All I saw was black block inlays and creme binding and I was sold on it.

I always found Link Removed bass to be very beautiful. This is my poor man's version of it :D

Holy crap I think I just crapped my pants... If I could have one bass and only one bass I would want it to look just like that Nordstrand. GOOD LORD THATS STUNNING
