Newbie from Australia!

Hi to all you bass enthusiasts, both Down Under and abroad!

Been browsing this site for a while now, thought it was about time I made an account! Decided some time ago to further my love for bass instruments, and act on the life long desire to learn bass guitar!

I've mostly played Trombone until now, with some piano and trumpet thrown in for fun. Bought a late 80's Washburn B-15 bass some months ago, just now getting around to giving it a proper go. Seems to be a wealth of info on here, and I look forward to learning from you guys!

Cheers SP_EB4L!
I'll definitely be having a better look through that! I was quite happy to find that there is a bit of an appreciation for Washburn :)
Oh Yah!

I also own a Force ABT B-15 and I love it, I get it for $180 CDN and with a good clean-up and a set of DR Black Beauties this bass is my best for classic rock.
Here is it!

They are definitely a very striking instrument! Yours is quite literally identical to mine, even with the same wear on the pick-ups :-P :-)

Welcome aboard!

Cheers!
