Just bought my first bass, a Yamaha RBX 250, and a Peavey max 110. Call it my midlife crisis remedy( 49 next month). Looking forward to learning a lot, since I've never learned to play bass or guitar before. Great site.

I'll recommend a great site to get the basics from if you haven't decided on lessons yet. The sites called studybass.com its helped me tons. But its no reason to not get lessons. I'm learning too and don't have disposable income or found someone close enough to get lessons from. Anyway welcome and enjoy there's a lot to learn
