Im Eric from Arkansas. I have been playing bass for 17 years in a variety of styles. I have performed on stage but get my kicks from writing and recording albums.
I have to admit, back in 1996 the bass was my predominant instrument, but I left it behind as I expanded and collected more instruments, built my drumkit, aquired a couple of horns, and have built a system of Moog Synths/modules that has distracted me a bit from my initial path.
My wife and I relocated, (leaving my studio in storage in another town) and since I have been without my bass for about a month now, I find myself missing it badly.
Gear:
I dropped the dime on an Ergo uncorsed 8 a few days ago. This will add to my Alvarez 4 (P&J with EMGs), Jasmine 4 electro-acoustic) and my Carvin BB75F 5 string fretless (Sweets as i call her). My latest aquisition was a set of Moog Taurus III Bass pedals (those do count here right? lol) so I figured that with the exception of a tuba, I have bass covered.
I have played mostly rock and Funk, Blues and I attempt to play jazz. I got to a point where I have been playing the same crap that I did 5 years ago (just more refined) and Im hoping this EUB will whet my whistle and return me to my roots.
