Newbie Volume and Pedal Order Question

Hay I'm new to haveing pedals....I want to not be lost in the mix when are guitar player does a solo or a part in a song where the bass needs to solo...so I'm looking at getting a volume pedal....looking at HBE Bajo..Lizard Leg Blue Tail...Xotic RC Booster...old Dunlop HiGain.
Is It better to have control by foot like the dunlop or off and on like the others. I play ALT and modern with some older stuff ... allso what order ...I have a line 6 wirless..old one x2..korg dt-10.. mxr corus....

Of the 4 devices you mentioned, only the Dunlop is an actual volume pedal, the others are booster pedals. You could also use an EQ pedal, or a "mild" overdrive pedal to accomplish the same or similar things. A volume pedal just changes your volume, with a boost pedal with tone controls you can dial in a different tonality for your solo parts.

I use a passive volume pedal in my guitar pedal board - it's basically a homemade version of the Dunlop hi-gain pedal, I put it the last in my signal chain before my amp.

+1 on Crater's comments.

If you want to add a volume pedal put it at the end of your pedal chain and use the Dunlop Volume pedal not the Dunlop high gain. I use the Dunlop volume pedal and it's a great pedal. Super smooth and built like a tank.

I use the HBE Bajo Mos and it's one of the most transparent boost available. When using long cords or several pedals this pedal helps keeping my tone pristine and well as boosting things up.

If you are havling volume problem I would recommend you use both they do different things but they will both help.
