ive play 3-4 different basses but have never owned my own. has anyone heard of RAVEN WEST QUITARS/BASSES??

I have never personally played aRaven but I would direct you to the link above. It is a website that contains thousands of reviews on music instruments from the owners. The link should take you directly to the section for Raven guitars.

If the Raven doesn't turn out to your liking, try the new line that Squier just put out. They are VERY nice basses.
