Wrote and recorded this over the last week, it's to give to the singer, drummer and guitarists to learn/modify so we can put it together live.

Everything is midi except bass, which came out with a damn nice sound.

It did indeed! That's a great tone!

…. I closed my eyes and let the music play I hear "Tool" and "Dream theater" in my head….

Many years ago I sat in a tour bus after a show with the headliners key player. He played a song he was working on and I said it reminds me of a song by the Dregs. He replied… "Kat food"? I said yes that's it. He appeared disappointed.. I meant it to be a compliment but he felt his song didn't sound unique after my comment.

Dream theater and Tool is a good thing so please don't be offended…

Nice work! Solid piece. For my ears, the bass could come up slightly in volume. The drums dominate a bit as I hear it.

Hope your bandmates will embrace it and that you have a nice new hit on your hands. Enjoyed your bass playing.
