One of these weeks, when I go out on a limb, it's going to pay off for the 2nd time this season. (Falcons) PacK > Bears
Being a "homer" myself, I can understand and will also join you in making a deluded pick: Saints > Yucks...er...Sucks....uh....Ducks....um...whatever they call those clowns from Tampa and that douche that coaches 'em. (Biggest reason I'm rooting for the Colts this year: Because John "Chucky" Gruden won a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's team - then proceeded to totally stink from that day forward. This is an injustice which must be remedied, and I think it will be. The other part of seeing justice done is the Clucks and Chucky sitting home after the end of the season, AGAIN. For that I will even gladly see my own Saints lose every game for the rest of this season, EXCEPT the two against the Pucks. Can ya tell I really don't like this team? )
Indy > Ten Chitown > Pack Jags > Browns Minnesota > Detroit Giants > Dallas Tampa > NO Miami > Buffalo Cincy > Pit ATL > Carolina Houston > Baltimore 9ers > AZ Wash > St. Louis NE > Jets Denver > KC San Diego > Oak Hawks > Eagles Several toilet bowls this week. Minnesota vs. Detriot, Miami vs. Buffalo, and Houston vs. Baltimore.
Week 12 is not even over yet......you guys need to calm down. Adam...you'll pay dearly for picking the Bengals to win at Heinz Field. The Bengals had a slim chance in the game at Cincy, but no way in Pittsburgh. -Mike
As far as I'm concerned, week 12 is over. I kid, Monday's game will have me planted in front of the tube. Maybe.
That's a pretty long, shaky looking limb. Farve seems to have a knack for throwing interceptions, and the Bears are adept at catching them. Combine that with our overall defense and the Pack's injury-wracked lineup, and you've got the formula for a W in the Bears' column. Bears>Packers
Of course you're right, but a guy can dream. Actually, if the Pack's defense performs like it did against Atlanta, I think we have a shot.
This is a trap game for the Bears. Bears riding a winning streak and feeling like world beaters, and the Pukers look like the Pukers I have come to love under Don Majikowski and Perry Kemp. GB has nothing to lose and Favre has had quite the history at Soldier Field. There's no reason why GB won't go all out since this is a division rivalry. Favre has some shreds of pride left, and a loss in a place that he once owned would sting. I would not be surprised if he had the best game of his life. On the flip side, if Favre was carted off the field after getting sacked 12 times, tossing 6 INTs, and getting crushed by Ogun, Brown, Harris, and Scott, I wouldn't be surpised either. I'd be ecstatic. I have watched too many of these games (50-60?) to make an easy call. Longstanding division rivalries is what "On any given Sunday" is made of. But as sports curses are being lifted (except for my cubbies), the Bears have a great chance to end Favre's reign in Soldier Field and break his spirit (or at least his back )
+1 Jive. On everything except the cubbies!!!(Go White Soxxxx ) I am really worried about this game. This is a division game and they Pack don't care nothing about the season we are having. We did beat them in Lambeau last year but they got us in Chi-town last year. Favre has owned us in Chicago and until we beat them there consistently I don't care what the records are this is a rivalry game.
Actually, I'm thinking it'll be more like this: Then ending up with a 3 pointer to win the game like this:
No rest for the Steelers. Carson, Chad and the boys will be in town Sunday. This game is scary. -Mike
Actually, in all seriousness it looks like they are all about to perform cruel and unusual butt-love on that poor guy.
And since we're posting pics now..... Ahh the glory days! and what'll happen Sunday: The one man foot army! Jason Elam!
