NFL Week 9

I get to start one? :hyper: :D

OK:

64-53 and rising...guess I'm starting to get a bead on who is who this season...FINALLY! :rollno:

...weirdness abounds still though...

Here we go!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

NY Jets @ Detroit - If the Jets offense doesn't get its act together, this could be an embarrassing weekend for them. De3 is looking pretty good right now, and they could stun a few teams....don't think so this weekend though. It'll still be closer than the Jests fans and players will like.

Jets 24 Detroit 20

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Can they both lose? :spit: ;) ...no? :( ...sigh, OK...Tampa is playing WAY over their heads, Atlanta is the single luckiest team in the NFL. So, luck or out of their depth? Hmm...(tosses coin)...the water is too deep!!! Upset special!!!!

Yucs 27 Foulclowns 24 (on a missed field goal, under 2 minutes left - for justice. :D )

San Diego @ Houston - SD on the road, Houston smarting from the whuppin' they got in Indy last night. Yeah...

Sandy Eggos 17 Texans 24

Miami @ Baltimore - Looks like a good game, both teams are playing good football, but gonna have to give the D in Baltimore the nod here.

Dolphins 17 Baltimore 20

Arizona @ Minnesota - The wheels are not just off in Mini-wanker, they're heading for the four points of the compass at flank speed. Cards lost a stinker to TB last week, take it out on a hapless and hopeless Whinequeen team this week.

Cards 24 The guys with sperms on the sides of their helmets 13

Chicago @ Buffalo - Buffalo has played two very good teams VERY tough the past few weeks, and I don't see them letting up this week. Chicago...well...yeah...:rollno:...Buffalo finally gets off the schnide.

Chicago 13 (that could be points or QB sacks allowed, by the way ;) ) Buffalo 17

New England @ Cleveland - Cleveland got their big win (you're welcome, punks :spit: ), they're finished now.

Patsies 31 Steamers 10

NY Giants @ Seattle - Er...really?

Giants 35 Seaturkeys 10

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia - Vick starting? Good. Mathis and Freeney will be having repeated meetings on his face.

Indy 31 Philly 13

Kansas City @ Oakland - Who'dathunk it: Game Of The Day! Wow...I'm actually excited about this one, and hope it's televised here in NC, because I really want to watch this one!!! Should be fun. Heck, I don't CARE who wins, just want to watch some football with this one! ;) However, someone must end up on top, right? Home team 3....

KC 24 RAY-DUHS 27

SNF: Dallas @ Green Bay - Oh. Man. :hiding: This could be a bloodbath. I mean, really...Dallas should just stay home, forfeit the game...heck, they've already essentially forfeited the SEASON the way they're playing "football" in Big D. Too much for them to handle in GB, could actually be UGLIER than what Jax did to them. Matter of fact, considering that the Pack is a much better team than the Jags, it SHOULD be uglier.

Dallas 13 GB 38

MNF: Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - It's very unfortunate that Cincy has the game after a Steelers loss. This unfortunate.

Pittsburgh 31 Cincinnati 17

MY GAME: New Orleans @ Carolina - Carolina may be the 2nd worst team in the NFL right now, and only because the Cowboys have just flat QUIT.

The Saints have been very inconsistent, they need to come out mobile, agile, and hostile in this one, set the tone early, and shut the Panters down from kickoff to final whistle. They, as a team, have already been saying this is more important than the win against Pittsburgh - they need this one, and they need to leave no doubts.

There will be NO doubts.

Saints 38 Panthers 10

Ugh, I have to wait until Monday. I don't like MNF sometimes. :)

I'm fairly certain we will be able to handle the Bengals, but we didn't last year, so we'll see.

-Mike

That just means that your football experience on Sunday is more relaxed, and you work all day Monday, so you're distracted...

;)

...I'd say you shouldn't be concerned, but that didn't work out so well for you last week, so..

:ninja:

:D

...Bungles, not after a Pittsburgh loss man, no way.

Well, last week was a 7-6, making me 66-51 so far this year.

NY Jets @ Detroit - I really wish the Lions well, they sure have come a very long way, but I'm guessing the Jets get this one under their belt

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Falcons

San Diego @ Houston - Texans can't be happy right now, so I think they'll make up some ground here

Miami @ Baltimore - Ravens

Arizona @ Minnesota - The Vikings are just one big mess ... hate to say it, but that's what happens when you turn your team over to a washed up QB .... Cards

Chicago @ Buffalo - The Bills are trying, but they'll fall just a little short .... Bears

New England @ Cleveland - Patriots

NY Giants @ Seattle - This shouldn't even be close, but the Giants sometimes play down to the level of their opponents. Giants should win, though

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia - Colts

New Orleans @ Carolina - Saints

Kansas City @ Oakland - Chiefs

SNF: Dallas @ Green Bay - Good-bye to the 'Boys ... Pack

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - Steelers

NY Jets @ Detroit - Lions

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Falcons

San Diego @ Houston - Houston

Miami @ Baltimore - Ravens

Arizona @ Minnesota - Vikings

Chicago @ Buffalo - Bears

New England @ Cleveland - Patriots

NY Giants @ Seattle - Giants

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia - Philly

New Orleans @ Carolina - Saints

Kansas City @ Oakland - Chiefs

SNF: Dallas @ Green Bay - Packers

MNF: Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - Steelers

Our management is hotter than yours.

:smug:

I get it now, Gard is really just a 'character' trying to say outrageous crap to get our goat. I feel so stupid for not getting it earlier.

On to more serious matters...

I wouldn't be surprised to much to see the Bucs take this one from us. Historically, we have had issues with them....fortunately we are getting back our #1 draft pick this week (hopefully).

I think it stays within a touchdown, but the Falcons pull it out (TWSS).

Show me the Falcons' SB ring...oh yeah...you CAN'T.

I'm crazy, I'm obnoxious, I will definitely try to rattle your cage, but believe me I KNOW the game.

And the Falcons are not to be taken seriously. Not yet.

I'll take your single silly ring and raise you a

Steelers will learn from their mistakes. Ben will start to wake the heck up, and the coaching will actually do their job this week. I'm going to say we win by a somewhat comfortable margin.

Thanks Gard. Been out of town and in the car driving 90% of the time.

OK Pack vs Boys. This one scares me. I mean, just the law of averages has to dictate that Dallas is due for a win. It is Lambeau, though where traditionally Pack has had an edge. The whole "wounded animal" think still applies.

But taking a page from LilRay, I'm not picking against the Pack. However, I do believe it will be close and the Packers offense still not getting on track. Low scoring affair.
