NGD (new gigbag day)

my fender urban short scale gigbag arrived. it looks great, material is sturdy.

the main zipper opens and closes easily, and both zipper pulls have metal guitar picks that say fender and "since 1946" on them, a very nice detail.

the backpack straps aren't removable, and while i prefer removable ones, it's not really a problem. they and the rest of the bag seems strong and well-stitched

the gigbag fits my jag ss and, unsurprisingly, the mustang.

if you don't mind some empty space at the top, it can also fit an ibanez mikro or a traveler guitar TB-4P. the padding isn't very thick, but i've seen thinner, and i'm considering making a padding sleeve to go around the basses or just put in denser padding, because i do like the bag.

the pocket is also well-stitched, but while you could easily carry a cord, strap and a GK MB200 or an elf, i don't think you could get much more in it. overall so far i'm very happy with the quality, the ability to fit various basses in it and the look :)

Lovely thing!

I’ve always been kind of bugged that regardless of what sort of bass I’m toting, I’m only repping my gig bag’s brand when I’m on the move. Convenience so easily snuffs out a chance to be expressive.

A stylish bag like that one, though, I’d feel pretty good about rocking. Even the zipper pulls are enviable. Very happy for your NGD!
