Double Bass Nicholas Walker

What are your opinions of him as a player and a teacher? I'm applying to Ithaca and would like to get some feedback(good or bad, if you want you could pm me) since I don't think I'll be able to travel up to New York to audition.

I've never seen him in action as a teacher, but he is an absolutely fantastic player, top notch musician all around. He's also a very kind and thoughtful person.

Nick is a wonderful player, teacher, and human being. There aren't many players who are as versatile as he is, pursuing as many different areas of interest as he does.

You should try to check out Ithaca - it is a great town to be in if you are a student.
