Hi Justin,

I 've been to the amazing show you did in Luxembourg last night.

I wasn't aware, you played that much guitar on the tour.
What rig are you using? Is it pure DI or do you play thru guitar amps?

On the subject of amps:
As you are using inear monitoring, why did you choose 2 different cabs ?
I think I read, they are not miked.

My in-ears provide a good deal of sound from the outside, so I still hear quite clearly what my cabinets are doing.

My guitar is a Sans Amp PSA1.1 into a Palmer Speaker Simulator.

So you are using some ambient microphones, right?
I am also using IEMs in one of my bands and I was wondering where to put ambient microphones on stage.

No, my in ears also allow outside sound. I guess some kind of holes in them. We have ambient mics, but they are not pointed at the stage. That would not be wise, it would turn your IEM sound to mush. But at the audience, those mics provide an important level of interaction.

That's what I was thinking.
At the time when I ordered my IEM phones I was told that getting "those holes" with my phones, would lose some substantial low end. So I got "regular" Ultimate Ears UE7Pro phones.
