Pretty sure an SR 5 has been his main axe since the beginning.

He is famous for using Yamaha BB's. Watching the Coachella live steam 80% of the time he is on a Yammy, and breaks out the Ray for 5 string songs seemingly.

He's playing the 5 String Stingray since the late 90s early 00. On Songs like Simple Kind of Life, Ex-Girlfriend and some others.
And the 4 string too (but not live), on Songs like Sunday Morning. Great Stingray Sound
