No "Edit" button on a thread I started

In the classifieds I started a post about selling my SWR SM-900. I wanted to modify it now that the sale is pending, but the Edit button does not appear on the first post. On all my subsequent posts the edit button is there, but not on the first one. I have started several threads in the classifieds and have always been able to edit the first post (and the title) to keep people updated, but for some reason I can't do that for this thread. Strange, huh?

Maybe it has something to do witht the fact that I closed this thread and then reopened it later when the original sale fell through...

???

I ran into this as well, and Paul told me that for
'Security Reasons' your ability to edit posts is
removed after the post is 30 days old.

Your first post is 11/05.

Probably it would have best to repost it on a new thread
12/01 when it went back up for sale.

It is a pain in the neck as I had a DIY build thread I did for a
cab, and had hosted all the pics in the TB GAllery. 2 upgrades
ago they axed the gallery and their went all the build pics.

Now I have to find a mod to redo all the work. People have other things to do than redo my threads I am sure.

Great deal you gave someone on that amp, btw. Get a
mod to close it and mark it sold. If it isn't repost it.
