No input from Zoom G3 in Reaper

Hi Folks. I've pulled my hair out for hours on this. Is anyone out there having success recording from their Zoom B3 / G3 into Reaper using USB interface? I have Reaper installed on win7 64. I'm trying to use my Zoom G3 via USB. I just cant get any input. Searching web, there seems to be a lot of people struggling with this.
I have created a track, enabled record. I have input preferences set to to Zoom G3 asio. Just nothing. I have also tried asio4all drivers, also no input. absolutely frustrated.
I have tried Sequel3 and it works OK but crackles. I figured I would try another DAW.
The sad thing about this is that I am a computer system administrator at my day job so its not like I don't know my way around a PC.

I don't have that particular interface, but if it's working in another DAW then it'll work in Reaper. You'll need to tell it which channel it is connected to, and possibly turn on "automatic" monitoring as well.

Your Reaper channel may look slightly different, as it is very customizable...

I work in IT too and found the configuration of Reaper pretty confusing. That is most likely your issue.

For the record of the post, I wanted to let you know I figured it out. Well, not really figured it out but got it working. The original laptop was win7 64 bit. I installed the 64 bit version of Reaper. Thru enough research I found that even Cockos recommended using the 32 bit version for best comapibilty with all drivers. Add the fact that I also read that the Zoom asio was only 16 bit. In the end I grabbed another laptop that had winXP, on it Loaded reaper and the drivers and it all worked perfectly.
