Hello guys, this is my first time posting in this forum and I hope this is the right place for my question.
I am currently composing a song, and already have the general picture of it, or the structure. I normally use GuitarPro 5 to create a metronome track to rehearse and record, as I use time signature changes. I use a percussion track in Guitar Pro and manually add the clicks for the metronome track. Then, I export it to a midi file. In sonar I've tried adding a soft synth, using both "Session Drummer" and "SI-Drumkit", I insert the midi file into such track but it never plays. On the mixer there is activity but no sound at all. I have also tried inserting the file in a midi track, routing it to Session Drummer/SI-Drum kit, and then routing it to an audio track and setting the output of that last track to Master.
I also checked the help page provided by Sonar, but it was of no help.
Any ideas? Thank you for your time!
Specs
Sonar X2, Core i5, 8gb Ram, Behringer U-Phoria UMC202.
I uploaded the midi and gp5 files to my google drive: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
