I have just found out I’m getting two basses for my birthday next week.
I know the rules, you know the rules, we all know the rules but until next wednesday and maybe even until Saturday I can’t because I’m not supposed to know.

I’ll give it a go. Cricket this side of the pond works much better (even in Spain!)

Hey! Yup birthday has come, been and passed. (Thank you thank you, to kind, thanks) and the first of the new basses is just 30kms away and should be arriving today. (I may have just jinxed it!).
The second Bass is probably even closer, hidden around the house somewhere until Saturday.
The pictures will follow ASAP, but to tide you all I’ve have this.....
For my 40th this year (yesterday) on Saturday I have gotten all the bands I’ve played with over here in Spain together to play the same venue. Should be a lot of fun and I’ll probably have a very long night!

Plastic is still on the pick guard. Not convinced by the pick guard but will see if it grows on me. Brand new “deluxe” gig bag included too!

Here’s the other present! Squier “California series” Jazz Bass.cant find too much info about these Bass but seem to have been made only for the Asian/Australian markets. No idea how it found it way to Spain! Played it last night at the party and feels great. The neck feels tiny especially playing it after an Ibanez ATK!
